Backpacking campout
March 20, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - March 22, 2020 @ 5:00 pm EDT
Location: AT section in PA from Pine Grove Furnace State Park to Caledonia State Park (Start is just west of Gettysburg)
3/20 – Depart Trailside by 6pm. Car drop 1 vehicle at Caledonia and arrive at Pine Grove Furnace. Night hike (need headlight) 3.2 miles into Tom's Run Shelter and camp for the night.
3/21 – Hike 6.5 miles into Birch Run Shelter and camp for the night.
3/22 – Hike 7.5 miles out to the car drop location. Return to Trailside in PM (5pm estimate but subject to Scout's pace)
