Scoutmaster: Ms. Michelle Khalili

Michelle Khalili has been Scoutmaster of Troop 58 since January 2021.  She has also served as an Assistant Scoutmaster, High Adventure Chair, Committee Member, as well as Den Leader in Cub Scout Packs 1445 and 1151.  Michelle has attended a number of Scouting courses, including Youth Protection Training, Scoutmaster Position-Specific Training, Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills, Safety Afloat, Safe Swim Defense, Hazardous Weather Training, and University of Scouting.  Outside of Scouting, Michelle lives in Lansdowne with her husband, three sons (all currently active scouts within the Troop), 2 dogs, and 1 cat;  Michelle works at PNC Bank in Tysons, VA.

Committee Chair: Mrs. Lisa Levine

Lisa Levine took over the reigns as Committee Chair for Troop 58 as of July 2019.  In addition to heading the committee she is also the troop’s Leave no Trace Trainer and a Merit Badge Counselor.  Before joining the troop in a leadership position, she was a Den Leader for Pack 1151 for 4 years.  She has two boys in the troop and her husband is an Assistant Scoutmaster (ASM).  She loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking with her dog, camping with her family, or running half-marathons (perhaps a full is in the future).

Mrs. Levine has taken the following training:  Youth Protection Training, Position-Specific Committee Training, Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO), Leave No Trace (LNT) Trainer Course – BSA Outdoor Ethics, and attended University of Scouting.    

Chartered Organization Representative: Mr. Rich Goodwin

Rich Goodwin serves as the Chartered Organization Representative (COR) for Troop 58 and St. David’s Episcopal Church and School, the organization that holds the charter for the Troop. Rich achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1986 as a member of Troop 36 in Charlottesville, VA, and while there served as Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Senior Patrol Leader, and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster. He is member of the Order of the Arrow and served as District Vice Chief and District Chief, and also attended the National Scout Jamboree in 1985.

Over the years Rich has given back to Scouting as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 36 in Charlottesville, VA, as the Committee Chair for Pack 1151 in Ashburn, VA, and most recently as Assistant Scoutmaster and Chaplain for Troop 58.

Rich has been a member of St. David’s with his family since 1999. He has served on the Vestry, two years as Senior Warden. He served 15 years on the Communications Team as the church webmaster and social media manager. He also served on the Finance, Audit, Capital Campaign, and Preschool Viability Committees. Rich currently serves as a member of the Sound/Technical Team providing audio/visual support during services as well as streaming live services to the St. David’s online community via Facebook and YouTube.
