We are finally going to the Via Ferrata in WV, one of the top 5 Via Ferratas in the country!  (Others include Jackson Hole, Telluride, Utah, Mammoth, CA)  

What is a Via Ferrata?  Via Ferratas use pre-installed bolts, rungs, ladders, hand- & foot-holds to essentially make rock-climbing a lot easier.  Anyone who has gone to an Adventure Course will be familiar with the harness and lanyard carabiner mechanisms that are used, but will be wow'd by the scenery, as we will be in the general vicinity of Seneca Rocks, one of the country's most gorgeous areas for traditional rock-climbing!

Travel logistics:
– Meeting time:  5pm @Trailside MS (bring or eat dinner before)
– Departure time:  5:30pm
– Travel time:  3 hours
– Return time:  Sunday ~@noon-1pm

Cost:
– Via Ferrata (13yo or older): $130, max 14 participants, tour time 9am
– Camping only:  Free

Campsite:  Located at the activity site, primitive, 3 fire rings, pit-toilets, and a water source ¼ mile away at the Welcome Center
