Get excited for our first horseback riding outing, where you’ll also earn your horsemanship Merit Badge!The Scouts Horsemanship Merit Badge will have both hands on learning and learning how to ride horses!You will learn all about horses including barn safety, horse health issues, feeding and care, and learning about tack. You will then go on to stations to learn how to groom, mount/dismount, and how to tack up a horse. Then you will actually get on the horse and learn how to ride.
