Scouts!Since heavy rain and unsafe river conditions lead to canceling our May White Water Rafting trip the PLC has decided to DOUBLE UP in July!Troop 58 will do BOTH white water rafting and a ropes course during our July campout.We will be going to Historic Harpers Ferry and working with Harpers Ferry Adventure Center for Rafting, Ropes and Camping.Read what HFAC has to say about their Ropes Course:Our professionally designed aerial ropes course delivers high adrenaline and thrills with over 60 obstacles on 3 levels and 2 auto belays! This two hour adventure ranges in heights from 10 to 40 feet off of the ground! This activity is great for families, groups and adventure seekers! This trip begins within walking distance of our main building and our sister company, Harpers Ferry Brewing! It is appropriate for ages 5 and 50 pounds and up. Each level does increase in difficulty! The higher you climb, the more challenging the obstacles become! This 2 to 3 hour guided tour offers beautiful views of three states and two mountain ranges!Permission and Waviers:Please complete the normal Troop Track permission slip and bring it to TMS on Friday.  Then also please complete this online waiver below:https://harpersferryadventurecenter.checkfront.com/reserve/document/?template_id=1&id=HQJR-040625Muster:As per usual we will meet Friday night at Trailside Middle School (TMS).  Please wear your Class A uniform shirt for travel to and from camp.  No meal is planned for Friday night so either eat before arrival at TMS or bring a bag dinner for your Friday night meal.Medication:If you need to take medication during the trip please ensure medication is clearly labelled with Scout name and dosage and (IMPORTANT) provide a separate 3×5 index card with clearly written instructions.  This card is kept separately from the medication and is used to plan and track administration.Return:Return time is approximate Troop will provide an update ETA to TMS when leaving the campsite Sunday morning.
