NT Trekkers,

I hope you and your families continue to be safe and that all this madness breaks up in time for you to enjoy your Northern Tier High Adventure trek this summer.  Keep an eye on the NT website for their updates (https://www.ntier.org/).

We are going to continue to do our best to ensure you and your crews are fully prepared for your adventure.  We are ready to teach you virtually on Saturday, 25 April, 9:00am-1:00pm using freeconferencecall.com.   We have pictures, videos, tips, considerations, recommendations, and experiences to share with you live.  And of course we’ll be there to answer your questions.

To ensure the success of this virtual endeavor, please see the attached slides on how to connect.  Please read all the instructions before you try to connect.  We want to collect your name, NT base, unit, and youth/adult status when you sign in, so please follow the instructions.  Overall, we want you to see our slides (etc) and open up your audio only to ask questions.  That should maximize connectivity and speed slide changes.

We’ll open the website and phone lines at 8:50am.    We’ll have a small survey for you to complete when you join so we all know our audience and collective high-adventure experience.  We’ll also give you a link to the slides in the chat area.

We hope all your crew advisors and crew chiefs make the time to join us.  Our training normally takes until 1:30, but virtual training might take a bit longer.
