Join us for a day hike while we are camping  @ Marsden Tract Campsite (https://www.canaltrust.org/pyv/marsden-tract-campground/) in between the C&O Canal and the Potomac River.  Plan to arrive by 10am, so you can join us as we hike IN PATROLS (<10 people) Section C of the Billy Goat trail 1.6 miles), one of the most popular and challenging rock hikes in the east!  There are also many additional woodland trails for beginners and experts alike. Fishing is available in both the C&O Canal and the Potomac River. Scouts will need a Maryland fishing license if they are 16 or older and fishing in the Canal; Virginia licenses are approved for fishing in the Potomac only. 

Meet the troop at the campsite by walking approx. 1 mile east on the C&O Canal Tow Path from the Angler's Inn parking area (10801 MacArthur Boulevard, Potomac, MD) to the campsite.  Bring your lunch or coordinate with your Patrol Leader to join in on patrol lunch!
