SUMMARY:US Science and Engineering Festival
DESCRIPTION:Scouts\, Great opportunity for hands on learning and fun in the world of STEM.  I've attended this festival in the past and wanted to offer this opportunity to the troop. See below and you must register individually (Free) prior to the event. \nParents\, We will need parents to drive/attend as well. Adults single day tickets are $15. See below and you must register prior to the event as well. \nWe can coordinate carpooling once we get closer to the date.  Ideally departing at 9am to arrive in DC for the 10am opening. \nSTEM college bound scouts…There are a lot of university STEM departments at the festival and its a great opportunity to meet and interact with them as well.     \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSponsor Exhibit Special Edition January 31\, 2020\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou Spoke\, We Listened. Changes Ahead for 2020 \nUSA Science & Engineering Festival Expo \nDear USA Science & Engineering Festival Supporters\, \nThis coming April marks the 10th anniversary of the USA Science & Engineering Festival Expo\, the nation’s largest celebration of STEM! We are excited to continue our mission to stimulate and sustain the interest of our nation’s youth in STEM by producing and presenting the most compelling\, exciting\, and educational Festival in the world. \nWe have read all of your comments and survey responses and have taken attendee\, exhibitor\, and sponsor feedback into careful consideration. As a result\, we have made significant changes to attendance at the upcoming 2020 Expo. \nAll attendees will be required to have a ticket to enter the Expo on Saturday\, April 25\, 2020\, and Sunday\, April 26\, 2020.Ticket Information: \n\nKids 18 and under are FREE but will be required to obtain a free ticket online and present the ticket at the Expo to allow entry. A ticketed adult must accompany children under the age of 13.\nCurrent college and university students\, with a valid student ID\, are FREE but will be required to obtain a free ticket online and present a valid student ID to enter the Expo.\nSingle-day tickets for adults ages 19+ are $15 online and $20 on-site (while supplies last). See below for details on our Early Bird Special and Financial Assistance.\nTwo-day passes for adults ages 19+ are $25 online.\n\nWhy These Changes? By monitoring and limiting Festival Expo attendance\, the attendee experience will be more fulfilling. Students will have the opportunity to spend more quality time at each booth exploring hands-on activities and interacting with our dedicated sponsors and exhibitors. Admission fees for adults will not come close to meeting our expenses as we gratefully rely on our sponsors to make the Festival possible. By modulating attendance\, we look forward to creating an optimal experience for everyone. \nEarly Bird Special:From now until Sunday\, February 9\, our newsletter subscribers are eligible for an early bird special. This special includes a discounted rate of $10 for single-day adult tickets or $20 for a two-day pass. The ticket price will increase to $15 and $25 at 11:45 pm EST on Sunday\, February 9\, 2020.We anticipate both Expo days to sell out\, so please do not delay. Click here to access the ticket site and use the code EarlyBird to receive $5.00 off the ticket price valid until Sunday\, February 9\, 2020. Note: Tickets are non-refundable. \nDon’t forget\, kids are free to attend\, but they still need to obtain a ticket for entry\, and a ticketed adult must accompany children under the age of 13. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGet Tickets \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFinancial Assistance:If you require financial assistance to purchase tickets to the USA Science & Engineering Festival Expo\, please fill out this form. \nQuestions?
