DESCRIPTION:Calling all First Class Scouts and up (aged 13 and older) who have completed ILST (intro to leadership skills training) and who want to participate in one of the best youth leadership development programs out there\, NYLT is a must! To sign up\, obtain Scoutmaster Khalili’s approval and then register via this link:https://scoutingevent.com/082-49373Please note there are two concurrent sessions\, so if you are signing up with a buddy\, make sure to sign up for the same one (although we do also encourage you to branch out and meet other fellow scouts.)NYLT Eligibility RequirementsScouts must:Complete their home Unit’s Introduction to Leadership Skills course*Receive approval from Scoutmaster or Unit leaderBe at least 13 years of age by course start date.Earn First Class rank\, if registered in a TroopHave current BSA Health Form (Parts A\, B\, and C)Be comfortable camping and cooking outdoorsCommit to attending the entire six-day course* Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST)\, Crews (ILSC)\, and Ships (ILSS) should be offered through a Scout’s home unit. SUMMARY:National OA Conference
DESCRIPTION:The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is the premier event of the Order of the Arrow and is Scouting’s second-largest national event. Arrowmen from across our nation gather both in person and virtually for an inspirational and unforgettable experience full of fellowship\, training\, adventure\, and fun! The 2022 NOAC will be held from July 25-July 30\, 2022 at the University of Tennessee\, Knoxville.During NOAC\, Arrowmen will participate in a six-day conference which includes top notch training sessions\, cool recreational opportunities\, evening shows full of theatrics and special effects\, and exciting programs.The conference registration fee offers two price points for contingent delegates and staff members. The cost includes housing\, food\, and program activities. It does not include travel costs. COVID)Full fee invoiced at initial registration Registration Instructions Register With Your Lodge ContingentIf you would like to attend NOAC with your lodge contingent\, you will register and pay through your lodge. Reach out to your lodge leadership for more information on pricing and how to register as a delegate. To find your lodge leadership\, use the lodge leadership tool. Your contingent leader will start your registration by adding you as a contingent member\, which will send you an email. At that time\, you can login using your ArrowID and complete your registration. Do not use either of the individual registration links on this page. Register as a Staff MemberIf you would like to register as a volunteer staff member\, you will apply\, pay\, and register individually. Staff opportunities are available for both youth and adults. You can either choose to stay in University of Tennessee\, Knoxville dorms or premium (hotel) housing. You will register by selecting “Staff Member” from the registration options to the right.Register as an IndividualIf you are an adult (21+) OA member and wish to attend as an individual\, not with a contingent or on staff\, you may register as an individual delegate. Register by selecting “Individual Delegate” from the registration options to the right.Register as a Remote DelegateRecognizing that physical space is limited\, we are offering an all-access virtual program. For a flat cost\, any Arrowman can experience NOAC from the comfort of their own home on their computers or mobile devices and will receive unique NOAC memorabilia items. The Remote Delegate program registration will go live in the coming months. You will register by selecting “Remote Delegate” from the registration options once available.Register your Lodge Contingent (contingent leaders only)As a contingent leader\, you will start the process by registering all attendees by selecting “Lodge Contingent” from the registration options to the right. After filling in your lodge’s leadership information\, you will choose to pay the full amount or a deposit for all attendees. A bill will be sent to your council automatically. After the order is place\, you will be redirected to enter the name and email for each attendee. They will each be sent an email to fill out the rest of their registration information on NOAERS\, and you can track the status from your dashboard. Refund eligibility and amount is dependent on the registration option selected. All Participants canceling their reservation after June 30\, 2022\, will forfeit their entire conference fee.
