SUMMARY:St. David's Spring Service Project - *10:30AM* This Saturday
DESCRIPTION:Update: \nHello all Scouts\, this Saturday is the semi-annual St. David's service project.  Beside helping our chartering organization this event will serve as conservation hours needed for rank advancement. Due to a funeral on-site\, we will have a later start of 10:30AM.  Please bring plenty of water and a snack.  There will be tools (shovels\, rakes\, etc.) there onsite but feel free to bring your own gloves.  \nWe will be helping with some of these projects: \n– Butterfly Garden clean up; this garden was Colin Baker's Eagle Scout project from a few years ago.– Playground tidying– Parking lot sweeping– Moving some old sod from the grounds to the tree line– Removing debris like small branches and twigs that grounds keepers leave by trees when they mow \nIf you have any questions\, please reach out to Hunter Makitka/Chaplain's Aide or Mr. Shen (703-863-5845). \nPlease RSVP and see everyone there!  Parents are welcome to help! \n————————————— \nOriginal post: \nSt. David's is Troop 58's chartering organization.  Without St. David's\, the Troop would not exist so this is one of two times a year that Troop 58 gives back by conducting work around the church yard outside. This event will count towards conservation service hours needed for rank advancements. More details to follow. \nAs always\, even though this takes place at a church\, there are no requirements for religious affiliation\, knowledge\, or beliefs.  All Scouts and volunteers are welcome.
