DESCRIPTION:You(th) Vs. Hunger a service project where teams package lot of food for hungry people around the world. We are signed up to be runners in three shifts. This entails supplying tables with dry food (beans\, rice\, dried veggies) and also delivering completed boxes to the pallets. While the service work at this event has always been extremely worthwhile in helping to fight hunger\, this event is always one that Scouts highly enjoy and can be a whole lot of fun.  \nThe ~two hour time slots are 07:45-10:00\, 09:45-12:00\, and 13:45-16:00.  We will need three or more scouts per two hour time slot. Please note which shift(s) you are able to attend in your RSVP. \nSt. Theresa's Church is located here: https://goo.gl/maps/aBtd4UpB4J62 \nYou(th) Vs. Hunger is a food packaging ministry in coordination with Cross Catholic Outreach. It brings people together to feed the hungry in countries around the world. The food is an innovative and nutritious blend of rice\, beans\, soy\, dried vegetables and vitamins or macaroni and cheese and vitamins. A single bag yields 6 complete meals. Our volunteers will take ingredients packaged in bulk and measure and weigh them to make individual bags of a complete meal. \nAs with all our service projects\, there is no requirement for religious belief\, affiliation\, or knowledge to attend. DESCRIPTION:NCAC’s High Adventure Committee is holding a free Philmont Outdoor Skills training on Saturday\, April 2nd from 08:00 am to 12:30 pm right here in Ashburn at the Claude Moore Outdoor Education Center Facility right off of Loudoun County Parkway.  (XGV6+V74 Ashburn\, Virginia or (38.9946132\, -77.4892939)This is perfect because our new scout campout will be at the exact same place starting at 1:00 pm.\n\n\nWhile the training is for Philmont readiness\, it will actually be more of a back country camping skills review with stations set up like how to use camping stoves\, how to set up bear bags\, and other practical back country camping and backpacking skills.  And the cost is free.\n\nIf you are interested in attending please RSVP by 3/1.

DESCRIPTION:This is a pretty-typical Pinewood Derby event\, but with videography included.  Show up at 9am to prepare\, first race starts at 9:30\n(I think you can get service hours for this event\, if you need them) \nHow you can help:\n1) General Videographer = Film event for Zoom Feed.  Also perform file uploads to website after the event\n2) Slow Motion Videographer =  Use a camera (in slow motion mode) to capture cars passing the finish line.  Also upload videos after the event.\n3) PWD car chauffeur = Take cars to the adult volunteer for race\n4) Clean up Crew = Help put the decorations away and store the material
