Hello Troop 58,

Scouting for Food is this coming Friday and Saturday benefiting Loudoun Hunger Relief.  This will be a different format than last year as we will not receive sponsorship from the district, and we will not go door-to-door.  We will instead use social media to notify residents in Lansdowne, Belmont, and Ashburn Village to drop food off at four locations Scout homes (Khalili's, Savar, Levine's, and OShen) all day Friday and St. Davids' church Saturday Morning 9-11AM. 

We will need Scouts for the following:

St. Davids – 9-11AM
– Traffic direction (2 Scouts)
– Food unload from cars (4 Scouts)

The response and amount of donated food is unpredictable so we may need some assistance to deliver the food to Loudoun Hunger located on 750 MILLER DRIVE by the Leesburg Airport; Loudoun Hunger is open Saturday mornings through 12 Noon. We will send out another notification Friday if we need help.  Please RSVP the following:

– Scout – Saturday Morning Church Work (6 Scouts)
– Scout – Standby – Food Loading at a house and delivery to Loudoun Hunger (we will email on Friday to update on donation amount)
– Parent – Standby – Drive to Deliver Food to Loudoun Hunger (we will email on Friday to update on donation amount)
